February 2014 Favorites

I know February is a short month but holy crap! I didn't expect it to go by so quickly. It hasn't been an eventful month on my end on the personal front. The weather is still awful, and I've been daydreaming about my southeast Asian honeymoon, which we were on this time last year. I would love to be beachside right now.  Anyway, here are some of the things I loved this month. They kept me going when the polar vortex threatened to knock me down. Let me know if any of these make it onto your faves list as well!

February favorites

Kerrygold Butter, ~$5 — Butter is butter is butter, right? Wrong. This is the sweetest, smoothest butter in the world.

Hedgehog Card Holder, $7 — This little guy is so much better than a Rolodex. I've named him Cashew Jr. after my favorite House of Cards character.

Jergens Shea Butter Lotion, $5-$7 — The smell of shea butter is the best thing about this lotion. It's also thick, creamy and extremely moisturizing.

Reporter for iPhone, $4 — If you're a data lover like me, you'll enjoy this app. It pings you throughout the day with questions about what you're doing.

Aveda Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother, $24 — This product has transformed my dry, brittle hair. I can now blow dry straight and skip the flat iron altogether.

House of Cards Season 2 — If I have to explain why this made my list, we can no longer be friends.
