Bookmarked: The Paper Edition

Welcome back to Bookmarked. In this weekly series, I bookmark things I covet while sharing alternatives I can actually attain in the meantime. This is the paper edition.

Sure, the world has gone digital, but it's also gotten paper-obsessed (countertrends are great!). Anytime anyone wants to talk paper, my ears perk up. I'm all about elaborate paper crafts, fancy paper stores, and, of course, real-live-books. Lately, even theillusion of paper has been gracing new canvases everywhere, and I couldn't be more into it.

First, we have these fabulous phone cases. You may feel better about texting "where u @" if your phone is skinned with a great American novel. My personal favorite is the library card print. Unfortunately, I need one of those phone cases that adds approximately five pounds and an inch of padding, because I over-gesticulate and drop my phone daily, and subject it to earth, wind, fire, and water about as often.

As a continue to spill and break things, it's only natural (fine — basically essential) that I surround myself with towels. These cloth ones are totally charming and give new meaning to the phrase "paper towels"! I like that they'll add a graphic element to the kitchen without becoming an overpowering statement.

What do you guys think?  Are you into the paper-craze?
