Welcome.

PAPER/PLATES is a
literary food blog, for readers with good taste.

And we're back.

And we're back.

Welcome back to PAPER/PLATES. We've missed you.

After a few months off — which we used to reflect and reinvent — we're excited to be returning to a regular posting schedule.

Our theme for June 2016 is summer, for this most invigorating season. Summer is a time for passion, for adventure, for spontaneity. It's a time for watermelon juice dripping down your elbows, for reading with a massive sunhat and grass between your toes and for grilling, grilling and more grilling. It's graduations and pools and road trips and iced coffee. It's such a good time.

All month, we'll be celebrating summer here on the blog and on social media with the hashtag #PPsummer. Later this month, we'll be sharing a book pairing for Helen Simonson's The Summer Before the Wara story of guts, passion, family and discovery.

Hope you'll join us.

P.S. Do you have ideas for a future theme, or feedback on the new PAPER/PLATES? Email me at amina@paperplatesblog.com.
